Optimal 29
Optimal 29, an Osage orange deflex reflex billet longbow recurved. The bow is 64” nock to nock, pulls 40 lbs at 28” and maintains a 3” back set when unbraced. The tip overlays are Sambar deer antler ‘pre-ban’, and the grip material is beaver tail, as is the arrow plate and arrow rest. The back is waterproofed elk sinew camouflaged, which made it difficult to find a suitable background to photograph. Earlier, on this group, I posted a video of it being shot.
